Why do I need equipment at home?
The appropriate health equipment will improve your comfort during recovery / rehabilitation and reduce the risk of post operative dislocation or injury. This health equipment will be similar to that you used during your stay in hospital.
How long will I need equipment?
The length of time you require equipment will normally depend on your age and hip or knee surgery procedure. From our experience after hip surgery you may need up to 7 weeks, where as after knee surgery the period is normally up to approximately 4 - 5 weeks.
